2009 Race Calendar
Racing is on selected Saturday nights and starts at 7 PM. However, certain special events are planned for other days of the week.
Please note that to ensure the safety of all, no rider will be allowed to race in a mass start race without first having completed a minimum numbers of laps on the Forest City Velodrome. This requirement may be waived for experienced track riders who can demonstrate their ability to hold a straight line and their knowledge of track etiquette. Such riders will still need to arrive at the track early enough to participate in a track orientation session.
Riders must sand the shine off any new slick (treadless) tires (80-grit sandpaper stapled to a block of wood works well).

FCV Grand Prix - Race #1 - Opening Night
The Forest City Velodrome is pleased to announce the first race of the New FCV Grand Prix Series.
The FCV Grand Prix will be a series of 7 races over the winter of 2010 - 2011 with a total Prize pool of $5,000.00.
Each race night will feature an event that will count towards a Season ending points fund for the winners. The races will alternate between Sprint & Endurance style events.
Race #1 feature races will be the a combination event with points awarded to both Sprint and Endurance racers.
More information to be released shortly.

Friday 6pm - 8pm: Open Track for training.
Saturday 8:30am - 9:25am Open Track for warm-up.
9:30am - Individual Pursuit - Event #1
4:30pm - Flying Lap - Event #2
6:pm - Scratch Race - Event #3
8:pm - Points Race - Event #4
Sunday 9:am - 9:55am Open Track for warm-up.
10:00am - Elimination Race - Event #5
12:00pm - 500m/Kilo - Event #6

The FCV is pleased to offer an evening of Madison Racing. Teams are coming for Ontario, Quebec and the United States.

CanAmQue Challenge 2010
5th Annual CanAmQue Challenge, this 138 lap test of Endurance is the feature race on the FCV calendar.
In 2009, Canadian Road Champion Guilliume Bovin duelled with FCV regular Ryan Aitcheson for the Challenge title. Aitcheson came out on top in the 2 up sprint for the finish line..... Who will win this year???
More details to follow.... Same format as 2008 & 2009.
